The first Aviva Rugby Festival will take place in Dubarry Park, Athlone this coming Sunday (October 4). This mini rugby festival brings together hundreds of kids from all over Ireland in what promises to be a great day.

Four hundred kids and their coaches and parents will converge on Dubarry Park, home of Buccaneers  RFC, this Sunday for the first Aviva Rugby Festival.

The mini rugby teams will enjoy a fun filled day of rugby with teams participating in a series of games      as well as coaching tips from IRFU Coaching staff.

The day runs from 11am to 3pm and is the first of two Aviva Rugby Festivals this season. The second will take place in March.

Aviva are the naming rights sponsors of Aviva Stadium which is on target to open in 2010.

Aviva Rugby Festivals form part of the sponsorship of a series of grassroots initiatives.
