Name The Ireland ‘A’ Team
England have the Saxons, Argentina have the Jaguares and we think it is about time the Ireland ‘A’ team had a kick ass new name and you can help us pick it.
Ireland ‘A’ are the reigning Churchill Cup champions. They will play two games in November – against Tonga and in an historic first against the Argentina Jaguares at Tallaght Stadium.
We want you, the members of the Irish Rugby Supporters Club, to help us come up with a new name for the Ireland ‘A’ team.
The Marketing Department of the IRFU will consider all the entries and select the one that best represents the ethos of irish rugby and the Ireland ‘A’ team.
The winner will be chosen at random from the entries that match the choice of the judges.
The winner will receive two VIP tickets to see Ireland ‘A’ against the Jaguares at Tallaght Stadium on November 27 as well as invitations to the post-match reception and a chance to meet the team.
The new name will be announced on the night.
