Irish Rugby TV, the first dedicated multimedia platform in Irish rugby, will be breaking new ground on Tuesday when it will stream the announcement of the Ireland team to play South Africa LIVE from the Ireland team hotel. The announcement will take place at the earlier time of 1:15 p.m.

By logging on to www.IrishRugby.ie/tvlive, supporters will be able to view the media conference as Ireland coach Declan Kidney announces the team alongside team captain Brian O’Driscoll.
Irish Rugby TV has gone from strength to strength in recent seasons, bringing you exclusive footage of the Ireland squad, one-to-one interviews and behind the scenes footage from the Ireland camp.
IRFU Commercial & Marketing Director Padraig Power said: “IrishRugby.ie has grown its support base and users continually each year since its launch in 2001.
“The development of Irish Rugby TV three years ago as the first dedicated rugby multimedia platform, has been one of the most popular aspects of the website’s growth.
“IrishRugby.ie has delivered over 16 million page impressions already this year including over 280,000 multimedia streams.”
The media conference is being delivered in co-operation with Videos on the Net, the IRFU’s multimedia suppliers.
To watch the team announcement live, all supporters need to do is log onto www.IrishRugby.ie/tvlive from 1.15 pm on Tuesday afternoon and be one of the first to find out who will start against South Africa in the final game in the GUINNESS Series 2009.
