The countdown to the 2010 RBS 6 Nations is well and truly on, with the Ireland squad deep in preparation for Saturday’s Championship opener against Italy. We have a flood of photos from their recent training sessions.
New cap Kevin McLaughlin and out-half Ronan O’Gara commanded much of the press attention at Tuesday’s training session for the Ireland squad at the RDS.
McLaughlin will make his senior debut against Italy on Saturday, coming in for the injured Stephen Ferris at blindside flanker.
Meanwhile, O’Gara, Ireland’s record points scorer, will don the number 10 jersey again as he looks to drive the home side to victory over the Azzurri.
