Bud Light Tag Ready For Season In Munster

All across Munster, clubs will be hopping with activity over the summer as Bud Light Tag expands to an even greater reach with the inclusion of new venues such as Highfield in Cork and the expansion of those already getting for the summer ahead.

The year ahead sees in Cork city and in addition to Ballincollig RFC, who made the summer very memorable indeed for the teams playing there in 2009, Highfield RFC joining the Bud Light Tag list of venues.

So teams looking to play in Cork city are now spoilt for choice with leagues hosted on Tuesdays (Ballincollig), Wednesdays and Thursdays (both Highfield).

The renowned Garryowen FC in Limerick will build upon its exciting previous three years of host Bud Light Tag and host a vibrant Tag season for all involved, as will Nenagh Ormond RFC in north Tipperary who look set to increase their leagues to 30 teams this year.

Next stop on this journey around Munster’s Bud Light Tag venues, we arrive at Waterpark RFC in Waterford city.

This venue has filled rapidly for each of its previous three seasons and 2010 looks certain to continue this trend. 32 teams from the Waterford area will compete in various grades for 10 weeks throughout the summer with the club running various post-match social events in addition.

In the South West, Rugbai Corca Dhuibhne (Dingle Rugby Club) will run its third Bud Light Tag Beach Tag event.

Each year teams descend upon this most scenic part of the Kerry coast to enjoy its beautiful beach, play Bud Light Tag and of course enjoy a weekend away together in the Gaelteacht. Event details will be announced later in the spring.

Bud Light Tag teams registering now can also enter the Competition Draw. This is the chance to attend match-day events at Croke Park when Ireland host Wales and Scotland in the RBS 6 Nations Championship.

To enter the draw, submit a minimum of 10 players’ correct names and email addresses when registering your Bud Light Tag team online.

All names go into the hat for a draw where they can win VIP match tickets plus invites to the official IRFU post-match team reception in the stadium.

The team must be fully registered and paid as only complete registrations are eligible for the draw. Winners for each draw will be notified by email, SMS and announced on the following dates:
