D’Arcy Receiving Treatment For Injury

The Ireland squad will have a light training session in Dublin tomorrow as they get over the bumps and bruises from the win over Wales and start the preparations for their final RBS 6 Nations game against Scotland next Saturday.

Gordon D’Arcy emerged as Ireland’s main injury concern, following his withdrawal during the first half of the 27-12 victory over Wales at Croke Park.

The centre received deep bruising above the left knee during the game. It is being monitored and treated by the Irish medical team and he is not ruled out of selection for the Scotland game at this point.

Winger Keith Earls, who touched down twice against the Welsh, had tightened calves and will also be treated and monitored throughout the week, but should be fit for selection.

Meanwhile, flanker David Wallace received an accidental scratch to his eye during the game and the injury will be monitored during the week, but he is not ruled out of selection.
