Donegal Girls Enjoy Mini Rugby Blitz

Four clubs were involved recently in the new Girls Mini rugby structure for Donegal. The venture is to increase the numbers of girls playing at the Under-7 to Under-12 age group so that the future of youth and senior rugby can be strengthened.

Ballyshannon, Letterkenny, Finn Valley and Donegal Town were the clubs involved and the Girls Mini rugby sessions will continue to run every Saturday until the end of April.

All the sessions are based at the rugby clubs from 10am to 11am apart from Letterkenny who go from 9.30am to 10.30am. The age groups the clubs are looking for are Under-7 (born 2003) to Under-12 (born 1998).

All newcomers to the game are welcome so come and give rugby a try!
