Fitness Boost For Connacht

Team captain John Muldoon will be fit to lead Connacht in Saturday’s Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-final against Bourgoin at the Sportsground (kick-off 1pm).

John Muldoon came through a fitness test successfully, along with four other players – Niva Ta’auso, Keith Matthews, Robbie Morris and George Naoupu – who were doubtful.

A groin injury kept back rower Muldoon out of the recent Magners League games against Leinster and Edinburgh.

Centres Ta’auso (knee) and Matthews (hamstring), prop Morris (calf) and back rower Naoupu (hamstring) have also been ruled out of selection in recent weeks.

The Connacht team for their biggest game of the season will be announced on Friday morning.

Tickets for Saturday’s match are available online through Ticketmaster or by calling in person to the Connacht Branch headquarters at the Sportsground during office hours. Click here for the Ticketmaster link.

Tickets are available at the following prices: Ground tickets (€;25), Concession (€;20) and Child (€;10). Prices do not include Ticketmaster booking fee.
