‘Ireland Unlimited’ Take Centre Stage

There was certainly nothing limited about the performance of ‘Ireland Unlimited’, the choir which beat off all comers to entertain the crowds and be part of the big match build-up to the O2 Challenge on Saturday.

Well done to the Ireland Unlimited choir for their performance before the O2 Challenge match between Leinster/Ulster and Connacht/Munster at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.

‘Ireland Unlimited’ is an energetic female barbershop harmony chorus who sing under the directorship of Cherry Hartshorn. They are based in Cork with an age gap of 50 years between the youngest and eldest!

They won a nationwide search, launched by Aviva in partnership with Today FM’s Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show, to find a choir to perform in the centre of the Aviva Stadium pitch prior to the historic first match.

Thank you to all those who entered the competition, and congratulations once again to the ladies of ‘Ireland Unlimited’ – you sounded great!
