The St. Mary’s Women’s squad will hold an Open Day at Templeville Road on Saturday, December 4. Whether you have played before or you had no idea that women even played rugby, if you would like to get fit in a new, fun and totally different way or you would like to meet new people then this Open Day is for you!
Even if you know nothing about rugby, it really does not matter – most people start playing with very little knowledge of the game and they pick it up during training. Also we will have top quality coaches there to help out. It will be a great day out and a chance to try something different!
The St. Mary’s Women’s Open Day will consist of a fun session followed by a social event, so whether you would like to join in, come along to watch or just enjoy the social scene there is an option for everyone.
This will be an enjoyable, relaxed day with some games, skills drills and fun rugby activities. There will be no contact, just bring a pair of boots or runners for a little run around and some mental stimulation!
If you cannot make it to the Open Day but are still interested in Women’s rugby, please get in touch with St. Mary’s College RFC using the details below, and you can come along to a training session or come to watch a match and see what it is all about.
Afterwards, we will head to the bar in the clubhouse for a bit of socialising! There will be some food, some drinks and some laughs!
The Open Day is at Templeville Road on Saturday, December 4 (2pm-4pm) and then ’til late in the bar!
If you would like to attend, please email stmaryswomensrugby@gmail.com to let St. Mary’s know of your interest.
