Munster’s British & Irish Cup Game Called Off

Munster’s British & Irish Cup Pool B match against Bristol, which was scheduled to take place at the Memorial Stadium this afternoon, has been called off.

Munster were informed of the decision to postpone the game this morning and the squad, who had flown in yesterday through Heathrow Airport, planned their return by ferry because of flight disruptions at Heathrow.

There was more than a little dismay that it was left so late to make the call on the state of the pitch given that a soccer game had been postponed yesterday and weather conditions had not improved.

No date for the refixture has been confirmed as of yet.
