New Zealander Ryan Bambry did all the scoring for Ballynahinch as they maintained their 100% record in this season’s All-Ireland League with a 13-3 victory over Queen’s University.

In snowy conditions at Ballymacarn Park, ‘Hinch swept to their sixth win on the trot with Bambry scoring a try, a conversion and two penalties.

Scrum half Ian Porter kicked a long penalty for Queen’s before a dead leg forced him off in the closing stages.

With Ballymena and UCD’s games both postponed, Bective Rangers managed to leapfrog both of them into second place on the back of a 28-13 win over Malone.

Bective’s hard-working pack dominated this Donnybrook clash, particularly at scrum time.
