Packing A Punch For The Charitable Trust

On Saturday, March 26, Ann-Marie Rooney of St. Mary’s College RFC will step into the ring at a special Boxing Night in D4 Hotel, Ballsbridge to raise money for the IRFU Charitable Trust.

16 boxers will take part in this special fundraising night and Ann-Marie Rooney will be participating in one of the bouts.

Rooney, a martial arts expert, has been lining out for the St. Mary’s College Women’s team for about six months now and she will be hoping to pack a real punch on Saturday, March 26 in D4 Hotel, Ballsbridge.

The IRFU Charitable Trust supports seriously injured rugby players and relies heavily on fundraising activities such as the Boxing Night, the O2 Rugby Ball and of course the New Zealand Walk and Cycle later this year.

Tickets can be bought from Ann-Marie Rooney (tel): 0879100232). Tickets are priced €;30 each which will include a meal and entry to all fights on the night.
