Davidson Leaves Ulster For French Role

Ulster Rugby have confirmed speculation that the province’s current forwards coach Jeremy Davidson will leave Ravenhill this summer.

Jeremy Davidson joined the Ulster coaching staff ahead of the start of the 2009/10 season after two years in a coaching role with French side Castre Olympique where he had previously been a player.

Forced to retire from playing in 2003, the former Ireland international and British & Irish Lion cut his coaching teeth at Dungannon RFC before moving to Castres.

Ulster’s operations director David Humphreys said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Jeremy for the contribution he’s made over the past two seasons and on behalf of Ulster Rugby wish him well for the future.”

Davidson will join French Division 2 side Aurillac as coach ahead of next season.
