Waterford Is Munster’s First Stop

Tony McGahan is taking his Munster squad on the road this summer as they train at a number of venues around the province, starting with Waterford this coming Friday.

Waterford is the venue on Friday (July 22) for a visit from the Munster squad who will conduct their training session at the Regional Sports Centre.

Then on Friday, July 29 they will be in Cashel RFC and the following Friday (August 5) it is Tralee RFC that will host the morning session.

The training stint in Tralee will be Munster’s last get-together before they depart for France and their first pre-season friendly match against La Rochelle.

Following on from that game in France, Tony McGahan’s men will play London Wasps at Musgrave Park on Friday, August 19.

Next up for them is a clash with London Irish at Thomond Park on Friday, August 26, the week before the RaboDirect PRO12 competition commences.

The squad sessions in Waterford, Cashel and Tralee all have 10.45am starts and are due to finish at 1pm approximately, with the players available for autograph signings after they have changed and had lunch.
