Ulster have confirmed that they will play an additional pre-season friendly away to Welsh club Neath on Friday, August 19 (kick-off 7.15pm).
The game between Neath and Brian McLaughlin’s Ulster side will be played at the Gnoll.
The Ulster Ravens hosted Neath in last season’s British & Irish Cup, going down to a 25-20 defeat at Shaw’s Bridge last January.
Jamie Smith and Tommy Seymour, who have since move away from the province, were their try scorers on the night.
The newly-announced fixture brings the total number of pre-season matches for Ulster to three, with the following games already confirmed – away to Bayonne on Wednesday week (August 10) and at home to Harlequins on Friday, August 26.
Tickets for the home friendly against ‘Quins are now on sale from the Ulster Rugby website or from the Ticket Office on tel: 028 9049 3222.
