Friday Night Lights At Musgrave Park

‘Friday Night Lights’ comes to Musgrave Park this week with the clash of Cork rivals Dolphin and Cork Constitution in Division 1A of the Ulster Bank League. Dolphin will include Munster and Ireland scrum half Tomas O’Leary in their side as he continues on the road to recovery.

The ‘Friday Night Lights’ fixtures were hugely popular last season with clubs and supporters. Dolphin will be hoping for a large crowd as they entertain local rivals Cork Constitution – the new covered stand can accommodate 2,900 supporters.

It finished honours even last season in the league with each side winning a game in what is one of the fiercest rivalries in Cork rugby.

There is pre-match meal in the Dolphin clubhouse – tickets (subject to availability) can be purchased at a designated gate between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on matchday (cost of tickets €;20 to include entry into match)

In keeping with Dolphin’s youth policy, all Under-18s will be admitted free to this fixture. Adult entry to match €;10.

The half-time harity kicking competition will feature local celebrities:

Doug Howlett (Munster and New Zealand)
Pat O’Connell (Queen’s Cork ambassador)
Breffny Morgan (TV3’s The Apprentice)
Rena Buckley (Cork Ladies Gaelic football star)
Jimmy Kerrigan (Former All-Star footballer)

There will also be post-match entertainment/fun in the clubhouse with complimentary finger food

Please come along to Musgrave Park and enjoy this heavyweight clash between two of Ireland’s premier Ulster Bank League clubs. Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
