The Irish Rugby Football Union All-Ireland League Sub-Committee held a hearing to consider a possible breach of regulation by Ulster Bank League Division 1B club Buccaneers RFC in relation to the fielding of an ineligible player during a league match on Saturday, October 1.
Buccaneers RFC were asked to answer charges that it was in contravention of Ulster Bank League regulation 9.14 (Player registration and eligibility). The hearing took place in the IRFU offices in Dublin and was chaired by Ian McIlrath.
