Keith Earls has been included in the 29-man Munster squad named this morning for the Heineken Cup round 4 encounter with the Scarlets at Thomond Park on Sunday (kick-off 12.45pm).
Keith Earls has been out of action since damaging his knee early on in Munster’s RaboDirect PRO12 defeat to Leinster last month.
The versatile back came through the provincial training session at the University of Limerick on Tuesday and if he does likewise in tomorrow’s run, he could be a contender for a place in the matchday squad.
Head coach Tony McGahan said: “We’ve to wait and see, he’s been out of action for three to four weeks, so we’ll have to see how he gets on in training for the rest of the week.”
