Details for this year’s Tag Referees Workshop have been announced but two dates have been re-arranged. Referee workshops are also very helpful for captains and players so please read on.
Starting on Monday April 16, the IRFU Tag referee workshops will take place at key regional venues in each province.
Hosted by the IRFU Leisure Rugby Referee Development Officer, international referee Peter Fitzgibbon, not only established referees and budding newcomer referees will find these workshops useful but team captains and players too!
Refereeing Tag rugby is great fun. If you are of a reasonable level of fitness and feel able to run a game on-field this summer, then why not give it a try?
All referees are kitted out with IRFU Puma apparel and included in the Referee Reward Scheme, a scheme entitling referees to rewards by way of vouchers for Elverys Sports which are allocated at season’s end according to the amount of games refereed.
