The Leinster squad stepped up their preparations ahead of Friday’s RaboDirect PRO12 derby against Ulster with their first on-field training session of the week at UCD on Monday afternoon.
The Leinster medical team have reported no fresh injury concerns for the province arising from last Friday’s 54-13 victory over Edinburgh.
Centre Gordon D’Arcy was withdrawn late on and received five stitches to a cut above his right eye, but the Wexford man will be available for selection this week.
Aside from the usual bumps and bruises, there are no other major concerns and the province should be in a position to welcome back a number of players who were rested last weekend, in a game which saw Academy tighthead prop Martin Moore make his senior debut.
Isa Nacewa’s 12-point tally against the Scots, which included a second half try, took him to 127 points in 23 games so far this year.
Isaac Boss is just one cap away from passing the half century mark in just his second season with the province, while Eoin O’Malley is two appearances shy of the same landmark. The Leinster team will be announced on Thursday afternoon.
