Patrons Club Looks Ahead To 2012-13 Season

Welcome to the 2012/13 season and what an exciting one it promises to be. Here in the Patrons Club we want to give you a flavour of what to expect this season.

In November we welcome South Africa and Argentina back to Aviva Stadium in the Guinness Series and we look forward to bringing international rugby to Limerick as an Ireland XV face Fiji in Thomond Park.

We are pleased to announce that following the huge success of our Evening With the Ireland Coaches we will be holding Players’ Q&A event in Aviva Stadium in the run up to the Guinness Series, with members of the Ireland squad – more details on that in our Competition Section in the coming weeks!

In February we will kick off another tradition steeped series of RBS 6 Nations and with England and France at home the Aviva Stadium will be alive with atmosphere on two of the biggest days in the Irish Rugby calendar.

We are also delighted to announce details of our official IRFU Patrons Club trip to Rome on St. Patrick’s weekend as Ireland play Italy on the final weekend.

Travelling with former Ireland international and TV pundit Alan Quinlan the package includes flights, transfers, five star accommodation at the Team Hotel and a rugby banquet on the eve of the game with special guest appearances and some fantastic prizes.

The season is only young but already we have been able to provide our valued Patrons with priority ticket booking for the following events:

Emerald Isle Classic between Navy and Notre Dame and the Leinster v Munster clash in the RaboDirect Pro12 in October

We will be back in touch as the season progresses with more information on further priority purchases for:
Leinster v Clermont in the Heineken Cup and the Wales and Scotland games in the RBS 6 Nations.

Later this month we will be offering Patron’s Club Members a second opportunity to purchase additional tickets for the Guinness Series games against South Africa and Argentina and my colleagues in the Ticket office will also be in touch in the coming weeks with details of tickets for the Ireland XV game against Fiji in Thomond Park.
