Stevenson Added To Ulster’s Injury List

Lewis Stevenson has been ruled out for four to six weeks after picking up a knee injury in last Friday’s win over Edinburgh, while Stephen Ferris will report to the Ireland medical team for the treatment and management of his ankle injury.

Second row Lewis Stevenson limped off in the 39th minute after suffering medial ligament damage, but the in-form forward may return in time for Ulster’s Heineken Cup double header against Northampton Saints next month.

Ulster currently have Neil McComb as their only fit and available lock – captain Johann Muller is sidelined with a thumb injury, while Dan Tuohy and Iain Henderson are training with the Ireland squad ahead of the GUINNESS Series games.

Meanwhile, back rower Stephen Ferris followed Stevenson off the pitch early in the second half at Ravenhill. He will report to the Ireland medical team for treatment and management of his ankle injury.
