Bective and Greystones kick things off in a Friday Night Lights clash while on Saturday there are games in DLSP and Old Crescent and in Ards in Division 2B
ULSTER BANK LEAGUE: DIVISION 2A: Friday, February 8th
Bective (13th) v Greystones (15th), Donnybrook, Friday Night Lights, 8:00 pm
Friday Night Lights in Donnybrook on an international weekend is always worth the admission fee!
Only a point separates these sides and a loss will see them remain in the relegation zone.
Bective picked up their second win of the season last time out while Greystones lost to ‘Nure. That and home advantage make Bective favourites.
ULSTER BANK LEAGUE: DIVISION 2A: Saturday, February 9th
– kick off 14:30
DLSP (16th) v City of Derry (9th), Kirwan Park
A home win would be a real boost in the bid to avoid relegation at the end of the season; especially given Greystones in 15th are away on Friday night.
It won’t be easy though as City of Derry come calling to Kirwan Park.
The visitors beat Queen’s last time out and should be strong enough to take the points.
Old Crescent (11th) v Galwegians (6th), Rosbrien
Old Crescent won their last outing to move out of immediate danger in the bottom half of the table.
They face a tough ask on Saturday though to maintain that winning form.
‘Wegians had a big win over Midelton and with a game in hand on some of the top four they will target this one as a must win.
ULSTER BANK LEAGUE: DIVISION 2B: Saturday, February 9th
– kick off 14:30
Ards (15th) v Naas (5th),Hamilton Park
Ards lost a key tie to Thomond in their last league match leaving them five points adrift and in the relegation zone.
Naas brought Rainey’s winning run to an end in a 19 all draw at the end of January.
This is a must win for the visitors if they are to move back up the table – in fact a bonus point win would see them into second place.
