Ireland Police Rugby Team Ready For Le Match

An Ireland Police rugby team will take on the French Police in a match on Friday night at the RDS (kick-off 6.30pm).

The Ireland Police rugby team is a combination of members of An Garda Síochána and the Police Service of Northern Ireland.

The team was formed in 2003 with the intention of bringing members of both organisations together in a sporting context to represent Ireland in Police and other representative rugby games.

The team is a vibrant and positive example of all-island co-operation and integration, reflecting the ongoing professional co-operation and developing relationships between both Police organisations.

Further information regarding the team can be found at www.irelandpolicerugby.com.
