Tag players have three class beach events to choose from this year as IRFU Volkswagen BEACH Tag dates for the Summer are announced.
Returning to Strandhill, Portstewart and Curracloe, tag teams again have great choices of locations to unwind in, hit the shores and enjoy a weekend away with a day’s tag thrown into the mix.
Beach Tag is exactly as it sounds: tag Rugby played on a beach but by 5 players in a mixed team, as opposed to 7 in regular tag. The entire competition takes place in one day, usually a saturday and runs from around midday until later afternoon, depending on the tides that day. BEACH Tag announced. To sign up a team only costs between €;175 and €;190, value which cannot be beaten anywhere else.
