Team captains all over Ireland have been notified by invitation to participate in this year’s IRFU Volkswagen Tag All-Ireland Championships/.
Taking place throughout Saturday, August 10 and once again, hosted at Suttonians RFC, up to 70 teams will sign up for one of four grades of competition.
The four grades are:-
– Higher Grade trophy / Paul Flood Memorial trophy
– B Grade
– C Grade
– D / Beginners Grade
Within each grade, there are more trophies to contest for, depending on numbers participating in each. For example, in 2012, there were 32 teams in C Grade thus 4 x trophies were contested: Cup, Plate, Bowl and Spoon.
As usual, the Apres-Tag party will be in the busy clubhouse following the trophy presentations with music, BBQ and DJ.
Food will be available throughout the day.
As the number of teams playing IRFU Tag has grown, places are limited and subject to availability.
Incomplete registrations will not be included and reservations of places are not possible.
Sign your team up online and ensure your place for this year’s competition as soon as possible. Once a grade fills, it closes up.
