Wrist Surgery Sidelines Bowe

Tommy Bowe will be out of action for 4 to 6 weeks following minor surgery.

Bowe underwent surgery on his wrist yesterday to treat an injury he picked up with the British and Irish Lions.

Tommy broke a bone in the game against Queensland Reds but was passed fit to play in the second and third tests wearing a protective glove.

The surgery went well and Bowe is expected to return to play in four to six weeks.
