Ireland U-18 Clubs Team Named For Italy Game

The Ireland Under-18 Clubs team – sponsored by PwC – to face Italy has been announced by head coach Wayne Mitchell. The capped game takes place at the Stadio G. Maini in Colorno, Italy on Saturday (kick-off 2.30pm local time/1.30pm Irish time).

The Ireland starting line-up is made up of players from 15 different clubs with Ardee’s Neil Reilly captaining the side from number 8.

There are four Exiles in the team – Jake Byrne (Northampton Saints), Hugh Sloan (Bath), Brett Connon (Newcastle Falcons) and Kieran Joyce (Sillihans).

Navan RFC are the only club with two representatives in the matchday 23 – openside flanker Conor Farrell and scrum half Conor Hand.
