Ards (16th) v Navan (6th), Hamilton Park

Ards are struggling after three games and face a long season ahead unless they can turn things around in the next few games. Their losing bonus point at Boyne is their only one to date.

Navan are one of the pack on ten points at the top end of the table and Saturday is a chance to keep that pressure on.

Armagh (2nd) v Greystones (4th), Palace Grounds

A big game at the Palace Grounds on Saturday as unbeaten Armagh host Greystones, just two points behind them in the table.

The only blot for Armagh is the lack of a bonus points and that may be a hard one to earn even at home. ‘Stones by contrast have picked up two try bonuses. A cracking game in store.

De La Salle Palmerston (11th) v Bruff (8th), Kirwan Park

Only two points separate these two teams at this stage of the season with ‘Salmo three places beind in the table.

They have won one and lost two but earned a couple of bonus points along the way. Bruff have one win, one draw and one loss and a brace of bonuses also.

Highfield (1st) v Boyne (14th), Woodleigh Park

Highfield lead the table on points difference from Armagh, thanks in part to big points tallies against Greystones and Old Crescent.

Boyne are well down the table with only one victory, over Ards last time out. Form favours the home side who could extend their lead at the top of Division 2B.

Midleton (7th) v Old Crescent (12th), Towns Park

Two wins and a couple of bonus points have the Cork side in the chasing pack in the top half of the division.

Old Crescent have also picked up two bonus points but only the one win to date. A good old fashioned Cork v Limerick Munster derby should sort things out!

Sunday’s Well (13th) v Sligo (3rd), Musgrave Park

Sunday’s Well are one, one and one for the season so far but a lack of bonus points could hamper them as things progress.

Sligo are flying the Connacht flag with a fine start to the season – their 90-point haul is the second highest in the division. The big question is can the western club travel well? Saturday will answer that.

Tullamore (5th) v Richmond (15th), Spollanstown

Two wins and ten points for Tullamore is a solid start for the Co. Offaly club. On Saturday they host Richmond.

The Munster side have yet to win and have only a losing bonus point to their name. The home side should be well set to take the points on Saturday.

Wanderers (10th) v Kanturk (9th), Merrion Road

Wanderers are another side with one, one and one in the WDL columns. On Saturday they play Kanturk at Merrion Road.

These two team last met in the Round Robin Series at the end of last season and there was only a point in it with the Cork side losing 30-29 at home. It promises to be a cracking game again on Saturday.
