Ireland U-18 Schools Squad Named For Scotland Match

A squad of 26 players has been named for the Ireland Under-18 Schools, sponsored by PwC. They take on the Scotland Under-18s in Dundee this Saturday ahead of the upcoming European Championship.

Saturday’s match will serve as a warm-up game as the Ireland Under-18 Schools squad prepare for the Rugby Europe 2015 Under-18 Championship in Toulouse at the end of the month.

Ireland are in the Elite Pool in the Rugby Europe tournament, drawn against Georgia in the opening game. Should they win that, they will play the winners of Wales v Italy. Ireland were beaten finalists in 2014, losing 30-14 to a very strong England side.

The Ireland Under-18 Schools squad is coached by Noel McNamara who assisted by Adrian Flavin and Paul McCarthy.
