Highfield are nailed on for Division 2B next season but the other three places are still up for grabs. Meanwhile Ards will be relegated but three other clubs are in the firing line to join them – all to play for indeed.

Navan (12th) v Wanderers (10th), Balreask Old, Friday Night Lights, 7.30pm
Navan should be safe but with two games left and only a six point lead over the clubs in 13th and 14th they can’t quite afford to relax yet.

On Friday night they host Wanderers in what promises to be a cracking game – there’s always a warm welcome in Navan for these games, though maybe not on the pitch!

Wanderers are safe in mid-table, though they’d love the cushion of a few more points.

Ards (16th) v Sunday’s Well (5th), Hamilton Park
Ards will drop out of the Ulster Bank League at the end of the season and look to rebuild in their provincial league.

Sunday’s Well will travel to Hamilton Park with Division 2B survival on their mind. A strange position given they are 5th but top 4 is what counts as the league structure changes.

Are they strong enough to get a bonus point and leapfrog Armagh?

Armagh (4th) v Richmond (15th), Palace Grounds
A key game in deciding destinies in Division 2B this season. Armagh need to win to keep their top four and Division 2B status intact.

Richmond need to win to avoid automatic relegation, albeit they would still face a playoff if they climb to 14th place.

You’d have to back the home side to take the spoils.

Boyne (14th) v Old Crescent (8th), Shamrock Lodge
Boyne face a crucial final two games if they are to make Division 2C or in fact the league itself.

They currently occupy the play off slot to face the winner of the round robin so they need a win if they are to stand any chance.

Old Crescent will be in Division 2C next season.

Greystones (3rd) v Bruff (7th), Dr. Hickey Park
The home team are right in the mix for a top four finish and a win on Saturday would surely guarantee it.

Bruff have an outside shot at it but would need two bonus points wins in their last two games.

A home win the more likely but will it be decisive?

Highfield v Tullamore, Woodleigh Park
This match had the potential to be a climactic season decider and to a degree it still has an impact.

Highfield are Champions by a clear margin while Tullamore’s two point loss to Midleton means they could be overhauled if things don’t go their way.

Hard to call as the home side will be in celebratory mood but still aiming to finish the season unbeaten.

Kanturk (9th) v Sligo (11th), Knocknacolon
Both clubs will be in Division 2C next season as the clubs ranked 5th to 13th form the core of that tier in the new structure.

There’s still plenty to play for as both sides build for next season.

Home advantage should tell.

Midleton (6th) v DLSP (13th), Towns Park
Four points outside the top four the Cork side have a lot on the line this weekend.

Points difference is keeping their visitors out of the relegation zone.

A lot at stake in Town’s Park on Saturday and home advantage could be key.
