The school holidays are nearly upon us – now is the time to book a summer rugby camp for your budding Irish Rugby star. We have the lowdown on camps all over Ireland.
Connacht
Connacht rugby’s popular summer camps are back for the 10th year. Taking place in a range of venues across the province, the camps will guarantee the rugby stars of the future an action packed week of training during their summer holidays.
Leinster
The hugely popular Bank of Ireland Leinster School of Excellence is set to be a sell out for the second year in a row with over 650 players booked to attend the residential and non-residential camps in The King’s Hospital.
The programme includes the usual professional coaching delivered by experienced coaches from high level
backgrounds, our off pitch recovery swimming pool sessions and nutritional presentations.
This year, we have added sports psychology for the young player, team building exercises to integrate the players and weekly guest speakers. Each speaker will outline their own background and rugby experience, current role and their responsibilities.

Munster
The ever popular Munster Rugby Summer Camps are back for summer 2015. This summer the camps will take place in 22 venues throughout the province (please visit www.munsterrugby.ie for details).
Camp places are available for boys and girls from 6-12 years old. Each camp takes place over one week (Monday through to Friday inclusive) between 9:30am and 1:30pm.

Ulster
Ulster Rugby has teamed up with local independent retail group Centra to kick off what is expected to be their biggest Summer Camps to date. The five-day camps are expected to welcome almost 2,000 young players this summer at over 20 venues across Ulster from July 6 – August 28.
Young players benefit from expert advice from qualified youth coaches with Ulster players on hand to give tips.
This year sees the return of the Junior Camps for boys and girls aged 6-12, offering children a first-time experience of rugby as well as the chance to develop existing skills in a fun and safe environment.
New Junior Camps available to young players in the 2015 schedule include Letterkenny RFC, Ballyshannon RFC, Cavan RFC, Larne RFC, Ards RFC and Rainey Endowed School. The dates and venues of the Girls Camps, for those aged between 12-17 years, are set to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The more experienced Senior Camp will return to Ulster University at Jordanstown for 13-17 years old, while the special needs camps will once again be hosted at Newforge Country Club, Belfast. Full details of this year’s Summer Camps and how to book can be found here.
