Aviva Win Social Media Award With Ireland v England Fan Studio

Aviva Ireland won the ‘Best Real-Time Marketing’ Social Media/Sockie award recently for their Ireland v England RBS 6 Nations Fan Studio earlier this year.

Aviva received the award for the innovative way they published real-time content from their #AvivaFanStudio within the stadium across the match day during the crucial RBS 6 Nations game.

In collaboration with RTE Radio 1 and Sportsfile, they were able to engage with and enhance the experience of fans both in the stadium and watching at home, providing followers with exclusive audio and visual content across their social media channels from the likes of Will Greenwood and David Wallace, live from the Aviva Fan Studio.

The Aviva Fan Studio is run from a TV studio in the stadium and provides an alternative second screen for fans who want to get a different take on the action from pundits that have included Donnacha Ryan, Shane Byrne and Thomas Castaignède.

The Fan Studio is also part of the live match day experience here on IrishRugby.ie which also includes a live match blog, match stats and of course updates from the Aviva Fan Studio throughout the game.

Fans can follow the Aviva Fan Studio every match day through Aviva Stadium’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
