The Ireland Under-20s’ winning run at the World Rugby U-20 Championship came to an end last night as New Zealand progressed to the semi-finals on the back of a 25-3 victory. Check out the highlights from the Pool C decider in Viadana.

The Ireland Under-20s, sponsored by PwC, finished as Pool C runners-up and advanced to the knockout stages in Italy as the sixth-ranked team.

They will meet Wales in Monday’s 5th-8th place play-offs at Stadio Luigi Zaffanella (kick-off 8.30pm local time/7.30pm Irish time). The Welsh, who came third in Pool A behind France and England, hammered Japan 66-3 in their final pool match.
