The last remaining places at the AON Women’s Club Sevens are booking fast – make sure your club is involved in what promises to be a fantastic day of sevens rugby.

Teams interested in participating in the event can find out more information (including tournament regulations) by emailing Justin Deegan.

Nora Stapleton, IRFU Women and Girls Development Executive, said: “With the profile and interest in Women’s rugby increasing all the time, we hope that this tournament – targeted exclusively at female participation – will encourage more women and girls to give rugby a try.

“The next few weeks will see many clubs hosting open days where new players can sample rugby and this tournament is an excellent way to kick start the new season.

“We would love to see men and women come along on the day to support the teams and while the day will be all about fun, fitness and friends, the prize money that Aon have put together is sure to offer some added spice and competition to the day.”
