The Ireland team management have issued a medical bulletin after Saturday’s win over Wales at the Millennium Stadium. Flanker Tommy O’Donnell has been ruled out of action having suffered a hip injury
Investigations at University Hospital Wales yesterday afternoon confirmed that Tommy O’Donnell suffered a hip dislocation in the game against Wales.
He will be limited to non-weight bearing activity for at least six weeks and has unfortunately been ruled out of participating in the upcoming Rugby World Cup.
Meanwhile, Andrew Trimble will have a a precautionary scan on the foot injury he sustained against Wales.
