Thomond (9th) v UCC (4th), Liam Fitzgerald Park
The perfect chance for both sides to leapfrog the team ahead of them in the table. A win for Tomond would see them climb to 8th and put pressure on Skerries, whom they beat last time out.
UCC, travelling on the back of a loss to Banbridge, know that a win on the road would push them up to third place.
The Cork students are favourites but Thomond need this one.
Corinthians (10th) v Cashel (7th), Corinthian Park
The Galway side will have been delighted to see Ultan Dillane named in the Ireland squad this week – how much more would they like his bulk in the engine room on Saturday?
Both sides lost last time out but Corinthians have been shipping a lot of points – averaging 28 per game – and they need to shore up their defensive strategy.
Cashel put 43 points up in the reverse fixture before Christmas.
Ulster Bank League: Division 2B Previews
Highfield (4th) v MU Barnhall (6th), Woodleigh Park
These two faced off earlier this month with Highfield taking the points in Leixlip. Since then they have lost to City of Derry.
The home side have a big chance to move up to 2nd should they win on Saturday.
MU Barnhall’s big win over Dungannon in the last round saw them climb to 6th.
Rainey (9th) v City of Derry (1st), Hatrick Park
Rainey gave the league leaders a test at the end of December and while they lost by ten points they will be aiming to improve on that at home.
City of Derry have a stranglehold on the top spot and lead Sunday’s Well in second by thirteen points.
Hard to look past the table toppers in this one.
Seapoint (10th) v Armagh (5th), Kilbogget Park
Seapoint are still without a win in the league and Saturday may not offer them much in the way of consolation.
A win for Armagh will keep them in touch with the top four, but if Highfield win the Ulster side will remain in 5th.
An away win on the cards.
