Ireland stars Robbie Henshaw, Jenny Murphy and Fergus McFadden were at the final Aviva Minis Festival of the season in Aviva Stadium as the next generation of young players got their first taste of playing at the home of Irish Rugby.
The sun shone on Aviva Stadium last Saturday as hundreds of boys and girls got their first taste of rugby on the big stage and a chance to meet some Ireland stars.

15 teams of U-10 boys and five U-12 girls teams took part as the culmination of a season of mini rugby.
Fergus McFadden was on hand to kick off the day, meet the young players and watch the action while Robbie Henshaw and Jenny Murphy passed on their knowledge in the skills zone later in the day.
Players, coaches and parents enjoyed an amazing day in Aviva Stadium with tours of the Ireland changing room proving very popular with all as did the Glenisk yogurt which went down a treat!
Head of Age Grade Rugby Hendrik Kruger said: ‘The Aviva Minis festivals are all about providing these young players with a first taste of rugby in a positive and fun way.
Our four provincial festivals and today’s national festival have been a great success with hundreds of young players having great fun. Their parents can see that rugby is a great way for their children to learn new skills and develop and coaches and referees have the chance to improve their skills as well.
We would like to thank Aviva for partnering with us and of course all those who have taken part in these wonderful mini festivals this year’.
