Clontarf captured the 2015/16 Ulster Bank League title on a beautiful day at the Aviva Stadium. We have post-match reaction from head coach Andy Wood, try scorer Matt D’Arcy and IRFU President Martin O’Sullivan.
A blitz of tries in the first half set up a 21-3 lead for Clontarf at half-time and it seemed as if their name was on the trophy, but Cork Constitution showed the mettle that has won them four Bateman Cups in as many years to fight their way back.
It ended 28-23 to the Dublin club and the trophy goes north of the Liffey for the second time in three seasons.
