Players and management from the Division 1A clubs gathered in the Aviva Stadium today ahead of the Ulster Bank League season which officially kicks off on September 16 and 17. We spoke to IRFU President Stephen Hilditch, Clontarf’s title-winning head coach Andy Wood and Young Munster’s new head coach Gearoid Prendergast about how important the league has been for players’ development over the last number of years.
