Dublin University are the new leaders in Ulster Bank League Division 1A following their win at Garryowen, while Division 2C pacesetter Rainey tripped up away to Sligo in their first defeat of the campaign. Elsewhere, there were six away victories in the opening round of the All-Ireland Junior Cup.
