The IRFU/Ulster Bank ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Prize Draw winners were announced today as clubs raised over 625,000 euro in direct funding.
This year the fundraising initiative raised over 625,000 euro for the participating clubs. To date, the scheme has raised over 3.5 million euro for clubs around the country. The Ulster Bank-backed initiative allows clubs to sell up to 1,000 tickets at 10 euro per ticket and retain 100% of the ticket sale revenue.
The IRFU and its partners supply the prizes for the ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Prize Draw, ensuring clubs reap the maximum benefit from the fundraising scheme.
IRFU President Stephen Hilditch commented: “The ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Prize Draw continues to assist the fundraising efforts of our clubs and generates significant funds for clubs throughout the country.
“Again this year, we saw strong interest and sales in the draw with over 625,000 euro generated through this initiative. The continuing support of the IRFU’s partners, and in particular Ulster Bank, of the Grand Draw is hugely appreciated.”
Maeve McMahon, Director of Customer Experience and Products, Ulster Bank, said: “Ulster Bank is delighted to support the ‘Your Club, Your Country’ draw which provides help for what matters to clubs at the very heart of communities around the country.
“We work hard to provide meaningful help to the communities we serve and this initiative does just that by supporting clubs to grow, invest in their facilities and fulfil their ambitions. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners for their hard work and community spirit.”
