Women’s Rugby World Cup To Reach Huge TV Audience In France

Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017 will reach more households in France than ever before after France Télévisions and Eurosport were announced as tournament rights holding broadcasters in France.

France Télévisions will broadcast the French team’s matches live and on free-to-air, along with the #WRWC2017 final on Saturday, August 26 at Kingspan Stadium in Belfast. They will also cover Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017 on various magazine shows and via the francetvsport website and app.

Eurosport, who have previously held the rights for Rugby World Cup in France, Germany and other key European markets, will share the rights, showing 14 matches from the tournament in Dublin and Belfast.
