Ireland’s WRWC 2017 Pool Matches Now Sold Out
Supporters hoping to see the Ireland Women’s team take on the best in the world on home soil this summer will now have to buy tickets for the finals stages on August 22 and 26 in Belfast, as tickets for all three WRWC 2017 match days at the UCD Bowl, where Ireland will play, have sold out.
A small number of extra tickets have been added for Billing Park UCD, where top seeds New Zealand, England and Canada, amongst others, will feature over the three pool match days.
At a Women’s Rugby World Cup, tickets are sold per venue, per day, with supporters gaining access to all three matches taking place in that venue that day.
Tournament organisers are urging Ireland supporters who snapped up tickets to #BringIt by lending their voice, colour and support to all three matches taking place at the UCD Bowl each day.
WRWC 2017 Tournament Director Garrett Tubridy said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce that all match-days at the UCD Bowl are now sold out, and that we are able to put an additional number of tickets up for sale for the game days at Billings Park.
“Supporters who purchased a ticket for an Ireland game also get access to the other World Cup games at that venue that day, so we are encouraging fans to come early, bring support for the other teams and enjoy the fan village between games.
“WRWC 2017 will get under way in the Bowl on day one when defending champions England meet Spain, while France and Australia will be one of the highlights of day two at the Bowl, so we hope Ireland fans will bring their colour, noise and support to the games taking place each day.”
