The winner will be announced in July and will be driven to the Volkswagen Tag All-Ireland Championships on July 22nd in style in their brand new Volkswagen Tiguan.

Terms and Conditions –

This competition is being run by the IRFU in conjunction with Volkswagen Ireland which is supplying the prize

By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any additional competition specific terms and conditions which may be incorporated. This document forms part of the overall Terms and Conditions.

This Competition is open to residents of the Island of Ireland only aged 18 and over with a full driving licence. The IRFU reserves the right to request written proof of age.

The prize is the use of a new Volkswagen Tiguan. The colour and specification of the prize may vary. There will be no model or cash substitutes permitted.

The prize offered is the use of the car for one year only from the day of handing over the prize. Tax and insurance for the year will be covered by Volkswagen Ireland, but road tolls and parking and traffic offences will be the responsibility of the competition winner.

The IRFUs decision in relation to the selection of the prize winner(s) is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The IRFU reserve the right to ammend, alter or suspend this competition in any way.

In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct or the results of a competition the decision of the IRFU will be final.

This competition is not open to staff of Volkswagen Ireland or the IRFU (be they employees or contractors), their immediate family members or associated companies including (but not limited to) the competition promotional partner(s) and SMS/IVR service provider(s). For these purposes, an “immediate family member” includes a spouse, partner, child, stepchild, grandchild, brother, step-brother, sister, step-sister, parent, step-parent or legal guardian.

Competition entrants must be over 18 years old and resident in the island of Ireland in order to qualify as the prize winner. The IRFU reserves the right to request written proof of age of any competition winner.

If due to circumstances beyond its control, a prize becomes unavailable, the IRFU and the promoter(s) reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value.

Use of a false name or address by a competition entrant will disqualify them from receiving any prize.

The IRFU and/or Volkswagen will endeavour to deliver all prizes within 28 days of winning. Where this is not possible, the winner(s) will be notified of a delay.

Unless otherwise stated, all taxes, insurance, fees and surcharges on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

The IRFU reserves the right to change prize details without notice.

All participants agree not to engage in any interviews or make any statements that will disparage in any way The IRFU, Volkswagen, their servants or agents

All competition entries must be received by The IRFU in the required format before the advertised closing date. Neither the IRFU nor its affiliated entities are responsible for printing or typographical errors in any materials relating to IRFU promotions; fraudulent, lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or altered entries; or entries which are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to the computer or other technical malfunction.

All competition entry data collected by the IRFU will be held securely, in strict accordance with Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003, and will not be accessible by any third party.
