WRWC 2017 Legacy Continues With ‘Give It A Try’ Sessions At Kingspan Stadium

Ulster Rugby are inviting young girls to ‘Give It A Try’ as Kingspan Stadium hosts a five-week introductory rugby programme for girls aged 10 to 17 (P7-Year 13), who want the opportunity to play rugby off the back of the hugely successful Women’s Rugby World Cup in Belfast.
  

The WRWC 2017 Legacy ‘Give It A Try’ Programme will run for five concurrent weeks at Kingspan Stadium from Saturday, September 23. It is lead by Ulster Rugby coaches, in collaboration with local clubs.

Age Range: 10 to 17 (P7-Year 13)
Dates: Saturday, September 23-Saturday, October 21
Venue: Kingspan Stadium
Time: 1pm-2pm

Information:

– Arrival at Kingspan Stadium at 12.45pm – via Mount Merrion Gate
– Activity will take place on the Aquinas 4G playing pitch
– Boots or trainers
– Wear appropriate clothing in regards to weather conditions
– Bring a water bottle

Meanwhile, on the eve of the recent Women’s Rugby World Cup final, Malone RFC, with the support of Belfast City Council, hosted Ireland’s biggest ever Women’s and Girls rugby festival with teams taking part from all over the world. Check out the video below:
