The Women’s Rugby World Cup has seen a surge of interest in Women’s rugby this year and the IRFU are planning a series of ‘Give It A Try’ roadshows in universities and colleges over the next month.
Building on the success of the ‘Give It A Try’ days for minis and girls rugby over the summer, the IRFU’s Third Level Roadshows will target students who are looking to play rugby, get fit and have fun.
In addition to the roadshows, there will be an inaugural ‘Freshers Festival’ taking place on Wednesday, November 15, for all players in first year of college or university, plus those who are new to rugby, i.e. non-registered players.
If your college/university team is not listed below but you would like to participate in the ‘Give It A Try’ Freshers Festival, please contact womensrugby@irfu.ie for more information and to register your team.
The ‘Give It A Try’ Freshers Festival is open to all players, with or without a team, and students may come along and join the barbarians team. Please use the contact details mentioned for more information.
