The GUINNESS PRO14 final will now kick off 30 minutes earlier at 6pm on Saturday, May 26 at the Aviva Stadium, due to the increased interest among UK and Ireland fans in this year’s Champions League decider involving Liverpool.
The GUINNESS PRO14 final is going to be an occasion for hardcore supporters of both finalists, the wider rugby community and fans who have a passion for all sports. Once the finalists for the Champions League were confirmed, PRO14 Rugby immediately set about working to change the kick-off time of the PRO14 decider.
This decision was taken in order to accommodate fans in the stadium or at home who wish to enjoy the drama and excitement of the PRO14 final and also take in the Champions League match afterwards.
Supporters attending the game will be able to view the Champions League final on a big screen at the official GUINNESS PRO14 Dublin 7s Fanzone at Old Belvedere Rugby Club. Click here for ticket information.
PRO14 Rugby would like to thank Sky Sports for their willingness to accommodate our fans. Sky Sports Action will broadcast the entire PRO14 final, with their coverage starting from 5.30pm. Additionally, Sky Sports Main Event will show action from the second half.
TG4 will be the secondary broadcaster in Ireland, while BBC ALBA or S4C will be the secondary broadcasters depending on whether Glasgow Warriors or the Scarlets qualify for the final.
