Timoney And Cooney Lead Nominations For Ulster Rugby Awards

The nominees have been announced ahead of the Heineken Ulster Rugby Awards Dinner, which will be held at La Mon Hotel & Country Club on Thursday.

Young back rower Nick Timoney leads the way with four nominations this year, while talented scrum half John Cooney is shortlisted for three awards after a fantastic debut season at the orovince.

In total there will be 17 awards at the annual event, which celebrates all levels of rugby in Ulster. An award for CD Group Ulster ‘A’ Player of the Year will be presented for the first time.
